Benefits of Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra guides the body into a state between wakefulness and sleep, allowing the nervous system to shift out of "fight or flight" and into "rest and repair." In this relaxed state, cortisol levels (the body's main stress hormone) naturally decrease, tension is released, and anxiety is gently eased. Studies have shown that regular Yoga Nidra practice can significantly reduce symptoms of anxiety and stress, helping to improve emotional well-being and resilience.

Yoga Nidra helps calm an overactive mind and deeply relax the body, making it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep. About Me

Hi, I’m Lynne, a lifelong student of healing, meditation, and the power of rest. Over the past 20 years, I’ve trained in and practised many forms of meditation, including Mindfulness, Transcendental, Quantum, Guided Meditation, as well as Crystal Therapy and Reiki, which I taught for over a decade.

I’m also the author of two children’s books woven with magic, legend, and crystals.

When I discovered Yoga Nidra a few years ago, it became a deeply restorative practice that supported me through personal grief after losing a dear friend.

This free session is part of my calling and my training. It’s my way of giving back and of walking beside women like you who are ready to rise.

What You’ll Need

One quiet hour

🛏️ A blanket, a pillow and a soft space to lie down

🌟 A willingness to rest and receive

🎧 Headphones - these are optional but can enhance the experience

You’ll be lying on your back, so have a pillow for your head, a blanket to stay warm, and perhaps an eye covering to block out any light.

If lying flat is uncomfortable, you’re welcome to rest on your side in the foetal position.
